How stupid can things get???
I have esd running, I can play multiple sound streams perfectly well (gaim sounds, xmms-esound, mpg123-esound etc). The moment I start Rhythmbox, everything falls apart – I can only get Rhythmbox sounds after that though I can see esd daemon still running.
What gives????? Grrr…..
