I thought it might be a good idea to turn on “safe sleep” (or Suspend To Disk) instead of the default “Suspend To RAM”; the motive was to save some batterry power whicle I move the laptop. Turns out that this was extremely painful when your system has 4G of memory.
It takes almost 20s to resume from disk. Might aswell just shutdown and restart instead. No more deep sleep for me.
