Noodle bar at Bangalore Central

had some work at office last afternoon after which , and myself went to the Noodle Bar at Bangalore Central for Lunch. We originally wanted to go to the Onion Peel but felt lazy walking all the way to Residency Cross Road. I remembered a favorable review from 's journal and we decided to go there instead.

Noodle bar is a nice place.

We really enjoyed our starters, tofu something soup and mushroom wantons. The soup portion was huge filling us up and verrry tasty. We didn't like the main course much, found it a lil bland. Maybe because we were already stuffed from the starters and the found suddenly look so appetizing any more! 🙂

They could do with seats with a backrest instead of a bench!

There is this series on TV called 24. Its about this guy called Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland of Phone Booth) who heads the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) and follows one day in his life in real time. So one season of 24 equals 24 hours equals one story.

Season one deals with a foreign plot to assassinate Senator Palmer who is likely to be the first Afro-American President of the United States in the next 24 hours. Jack is called in to save the day.

What happens from then on is mind blowingly suspenseful to say the least. The twists and the turns the story takes is sheer crazy. I would rate this series better than most movies in recent times.

The series airs on AXN India at some weird times and I ended up missing most of the episodes. So I picked up the DVD from Habitat last evening and watched the first three episodes back to back in glorious DVD quality and digital sound. I need to be up by 7AM to catch the cab else I could have gone another few episodes.

Need to watch another few episodes today.
