Cable TV Woes!

Looks like all the cable TV operators have gone on strike again which means no Buffy, no Angel and no Farscape either. 🙁 Since cable was on a brink, we got “Shanghai Noon” on DVD yday. I slept halfway thru the movie.

I played around with Bochs IA-32 Emulator yday. Installed it from ports and the thingy worked quite fine with MSDOS but refused to install RedHat Linux 7.3. I hear VMware too has problems with kernel 2.4.18. Keyboard repeat rate was totally screwed for the OpenBSD install.

On the whole, Bochs was too slow and clumsy. De-installed it at the end of the day. Perhaps I shall give Plex86 a shot today. I need some sort of VM machine, Vmware does not build on -CURRENT.
