I replaced the venerable e16 with e17 as my primary desktop today. Its behaving really slick so far after using “enlightenment_remote” to configure all my keybindings and shortcuts, individual backgrounds for each desktops, starter bar etc.
Only one annoyance – sometimes windows dont disappear after closing them (some dereferencing problem) which is a known bug.
