And now, sync from FreeBSD!

Once I figured out how to use pilot-link over the weekend, the actual task of installing applications is a cinch under both Fedora and FreeBSD.

[buffy] ~/Downloads> sudo pilot-xfer -p /dev/cuaU0 -i WEME571JVM/JVM/ARM4T/J9JavaVMMidp20.prc

Palm TX

I had timed my Palm TX purchase in line with the team move to EGL. Considering that it was a 6 year “timing” delay to get one of these PDA toys, I could kick myself for not getting it sooner.

Thanks to Atul to get me started on using this device by installing TCPMP and PTunes which is the media player and the music player respectively. The long cab drives have just become much more relaxed.

/me copying Coupling episodes to the memory card now! :)

Bye Bye MG Road. Hello Inner Ring Road!

My teams moving from our MG Road building to the temporary incubation space at EGL, Koramangala Inner Ring Road. This changes a lot of things, no more quick dash to Brigade Road, Inox Movies, Habitat and worst of all, wake up 30 mins earlier that usual to catch the alternate cab!

Got one week to comply! :(

To netiquette or notiquette???

There's conflicting netequite about what I should do with a long thread. some folks say quote the whole thing, others say quote tiny
bits. I've decided to offend both camps by quoting nothing :-) — M. Warner Losh

Nice one for a sig!
